British girl Jasey moves to Australia, Melbourne for a new start, away from the family that never cared like they should have, just about a year after she's settled with her new boyfriend Chad she finds herself running through an old graffitied car park to find 5 boys jumping around on a tatty sofa, setting up to film some sort of video, the boys assume she's a fan or someone that took a wrong turn, but Beau Brooks sees the bruises that mark her body and doesn't believe for a second that she would be safe with the man who runs behind her, puts his hand on her shoulder, roughly kisses her on the cheek and takes her by the arm back out of the car park.
