The Loser List

I heard all about this "Loser List" that was going around school, but I haven't actually seen it. So when the folded piece of paper lands on my desk, I can't help feeling excited.
Slowly, I open up the paper, wondering about who I should put on the list. However, my eye catches the first name on the list, and I gasp. I look down at the other names, and I can feel the color rushing to my cheeks.
Every single number on that list is accompanied by the words "Karen Chan."

Karen Chan has never considered herself cool. With her weird attraction to bunnies, her lack of friends, and her awkward personality, she was the opposite of cool.
