Following the end of K: Return of Kings, Yukari and Sukuna were off to live their own lives somewhere else, now that Nagare and Mr. Iwa are both dead.
What happens when the JUNGLE system is taken over by an anonymous hacker and strange, potentially destructive missions are sent out?
And in this process, a young woman named Akira is caught up into the whirlwind of the former JUNGLE members and this mysterious online entity.
What could possibly happen between a vain, arrogant swordsman and a quirky, quick-witted cybergenius?
Akira is a top-class, self-taught hacker living her own life, aware of the mysterious powers of the kings that once governed Japan, but doesn't give a care. When she is approached by a man named Yukari Mishakuji, a quick hack through confidential databases enlightens her to the history of the Dredsen Slates, the Damocles, and the kings, as well as the profiles of the former JUNGLE clan.
