Evangeline lost count of the days since the Earth went to hell. At first, confused and afraid, then desperate and determined, she discovered her strengths as she set out to make her way back home. Half a country away from the unknown fate of her family, she finds others like her- clinging to their lives and humanity by a delicate thread. A new love, an arrogant savior, then an entire community, all in one way or another, in need of her.

When presented with her best chance to survive, she struggles between hope and resignation. Is it crazy to hope that she can make it home? Will her family even be there if she does? Or is what she found in the community of Alexandria enough to make her feel at home again? With an intense and diverse collection of new relationships forming more solid by the day, could she bear to leave them if she dared?

Seasons 1-9 so far! ~~ Parker Grimes was with her family when the world came to an end. Her only goal was to keep those around her safe, and no matter how bad things became, she'd stay with them till the very end. She didn't expect the loner of the group, Daryl Dixon, to catch her eye. The only real question is: Is the end of the world really the best place to find love? A world where Parker realizes that maybe having someone to take care of her isn't a sign of weakness, and Daryl realizes that life is better when you have someone by your side.
