It's my pleasure to share this eclectic mix of poem, prose, and song. These are stories from the Tidewater: that gentle land that slopes into the sea and cradles the Great Dismal Swamp. I hope you enjoy the read'n of em as much as I have enjoyed the tell' n. These tales started out, years ago as rough-hewn pine... raw and fresh-cut. "Hey! Can't you stop for like five minutes? I have so many questions and you keep going on and on." I yelled at him. He turned around and proceeded to come toward me, fuming in anger. I instinctively started taking steps backwards until my back touched the wall. He came towards me and caged me, whispering in anger "Really? And why, pray tell me, should I answer them." ***** Hi! I am Anana and my life story is the most predictable - quite literally. For I am a wight - a soul who lingers at the back of people's minds and watches their 'already known to me life story' unfold. However, things get interesting when something unpredictable happens in 'my' life, when I have to take my own step and even watch it for it can make the difference between 'my' life and death!Concluída
