Ignorance and intolerance. It's been happening ever since Anthony and I started dating. When we came out a few months back, there was a mixed reaction of responses. Some people were extremely excited. Others wanted our heads on a stick and our corpses roasted in a fire pit like a marshmallow. The remaining didn't like it, but they didn't hate us either. They just said that it was our choice and they'd continue watching smosh. Well, you can't exactly change people, right? So why bother starting a fight? I don't care about their opinions very much, since we were just letting them know, for the record, that we were together. I only paid very little attention to the comments, if very little means staring at a Mac for hours scrolling through homophobic comments. Despite all the rude comments, Anthony says "I hope you know I still love you." and kisses me on the cheek. I hope that one day, I wouldn't have to be called a "fairy" just for holding my boyfriend's hand.
