Coop, or "Slick" as he's know to his mc brothers is macho and rough, smart and loyal, Coop can't understand why the new girl who is suddenly friends with all of his friends, annoys him so much. He tried not to be rude to her, well, he didn't try that hard, and he certainly didn't succeed. But he did get her a restraining order from an abusive ex, so why does she bother him so much? Their world is bright and happy, shiny and safe (as far as she's aware) and she will do everything in her power to keep it that way. Her move back to Ventura is the best thing (next to her baby) that's happened to her, ever, so she is not going to let the grumpy, jerk of a club lawyer/club brother get in the way of her own happily ever after. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it.
