"Listen to me. You're mine now. You have no right to ask any questions, or talk to me. I talk to you, I ask you questions. I'm keeping you alive so you should be thankful." he snarled at me.

"What? Y-you can't do that! You can't own me like this." I cried, squirming around in his grasp.

"Try and stop me, love." he chuckled, pushing me back into a tree, making it even harder to escape from his grasp.

I said nothing, knowing I couldn't do anything about it and hating that I couldn't.

"Got it?" he asked. I could tell he said this for his own amusement, even though his face showed none. "Answer me." he said. I could tell he was growing frustrated at my lack of response, but I found it hard to speak at moments like this.

"Yes." I sighed in defeat, dropping my head.

"Why?" I asked weakly after a moment of silence, hoping he wouldn't call me out on asking him questions.

"Because I can." he replied simply, smiling a bit.
