Elena Gilbert, Five, has been in love with Prince Stefan for years. Only, she never got the chance to meet him, so her love was pointless. What happens when she gets a letter announcing the Selection, a competition to win the heart of his older brother, Prince Damon? She signs up for it and gets picked, but she needs to remind herself that she needs to seduce Damon to stay at the palace. But what if Elena was falling in love with the eldest? What will she do? AU, Delena.


Note:  This fanfiction takes place in Mystic Falls, but it is a country. It also takes place in a complete parallel universe. Damon and Stefan are princes, Giuseppe is king and Lily is queen. I've been inspired of The Selection by Kiera Cass, it is quite obvious. The Selection is basically a competition of 35 girls trying to become queen, so to marry the prince. TVD and TS characters appear in the fanfic, but it is mainly Delena. Vampires do not exist.
