"Damnit," I cursed. "I should have never snuck out at night"

Why did I listen to Sam, i should've known better than to have listened to her. Now here I am walking through this damn forrest, lost, yes lost.

*"C'mon Scar, everyone is going," Sam pouted, "We can't miss out!" After a bit more begging and pouting I reluctantly agreed.*

I looked around and noticed there weren't a lot of trees anymore.

A clearing? I'm saved!, I thought.

I heard lighting strike not to far away.

I quickly turned my head, while my eyes widened. Oh my god.

I saw as the lighting crashed down on the tree on top of the hill. Three times. What happened to 'Lighting never strikes the same place twice?'All Rights Reserved

I have never felt so close and yet so far away from anything before. I could hear people yelling, they noticed I was gone. I have been locked up for so long I forgot what the forest felt like. Full of life and green. By the time someone notices they are heading the wrong way, it will be too late. My plan was to escape, run south for a bit, then circle back to my prison. As soon as they followed the scent south, I would run north. I could hear a river north, so I would run to the river then wade up stream so the scent would be lost. Find somewhere safe to cross, then take off, continuing north. My heart is pounding so hard I am afraid my captures could hear it and ruin the whole plan.

Jenny and I were way ahead of the others. He was talking but I was thinking and ignored him. Instead I was enjoying the beauty of nature, looking at all the beautiful trees. Then suddenly one of the trees caught my attention. It was very big, tall, and beautiful. For some reason I was immediately attracted to it. I stopped in front of it and observed it. My boyfriend was still mumbling. I reached out and touched the tree. Then I realized there was writing on it. "I wonder what's written there," Jenny said. "Entrance to another world," I said, staring at the words. "How do you know what's written there? What language is it?" "I don't know. Somehow, it seems familiar." "How?" "I don't know." I began to feel the words on the tree, then I began to trace the words with my finger. Jenny clung to me as usual. When I traced the last letter of the last word, suddenly a blue light appeared. The light grew into a large ring around the pitch black portal. Without understanding why, I moved towards it. Jenny tried to stop me but she was small and I was strong. We both disappeared from where we stood. Then fell to the ground in the forest. But this forest was different. This was definitely not America.

'"What are you doing here?!" I scolded. "What are you doing here?!" Hunter said. "You didn't answer my question!" I said to him. He looked at me and I knew what was coming next. He suddenly turned from furious to comforting. "What's is this place?" He whispered and opened his arms. I examined him cautiously before breaking and running into his arms. I cried against his strong build. He stroked my hair and whispered repetitively, "Its ok. I'm here now. Don't worry. I'm all yours."' Everyone has to start somewhere. My life started without a dad. Now, on the other side of the river, I was in a forest, jumping over logs and fallen tree trunks, pushing leaves out of my face. I stopped when I finally felt fully isolated. I sat down on a small rock and cried and cried and cried. I guess this is where I will stay for now. I guess these are just my woods for now. Just my woods for now.'

You shouldn't have tried to run away." the voice goes through my head again. I look around and see nothing but trees. "LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" My voice begins to grow sore from the constant running and yelling. The sound of leaves crunching comes from behind me and I whip my head around until my eyes are met with him. "My dear (Y/N), you've made quite the mess of yourself. You know you are not aloud to leave......now you'll have to be punished." The figure says without any facial expression or motion. The figure begins to walk forward towards me. I try to back away until my vision becomes black and all I can hear is static.

There, coming through the door, were several large angry men, dressed strangely in what looked like animal furs and carrying ominous looking weapons. Some had clubs with sharp objects attached to the ends and others had sharp axes and swords. She could hear her own screams escaping from her lips, and she opened her eyes to notice she was lying in her bed in the safety of her room in the convent where she lived. She was still trembling and had to tell herself it was just a dream. She was safe and no one would ever be able to hurt her.

We run away from something I don't know. I just know that there is something that was pulling me through a deep unknown darkness. But he was there and now we are running away. I don't know who he is yet I trusted him with all my life. For that instant, I knew my heart belongs to him. *** *** "I didn't mean to love you yet I love you so much I cannot hold you so tight." I said those words and I couldn't stop myself not to feel the bitterness of the truth we are going to face. But still I hold her hand even though I know that it isn't right. We run and I save her. Yet, I don't know it was the beginning and I don't want to find out the ending. Still, the end is near and I cannot hold her even though my heart already belongs to her.
