"Girls can't play football," he stated, whilst smirking.

"I'm pretty sure they can," I narrowed my eyes at him, angry at his judgement.

      "Well, then, prove it."

Summer Jones doesn't have a perfect life - a crazy half family, dropping grades and absolutely no idea on what she's doing in life. This tomboy has no care in the world about anything except her sleep, food and loved ones. In that order (or not). But someone's about to crash that scale of preference and make her mind even crazier. Caleb Anderson seemed to have a perfect life. He had the looks, the crazy psycho girls running behind him and amazing soccer skills. What more could he need, right? Wrong. All he needed was a wild Summer Jones to spice his life up and all she needed was an arrogant Caleb Anderson to show her how to live fully in life. Would these two completely independent people, go past their hatred for each other and depend on that one chance brought to them? *** "I just got started. Wait and watch how I ruin your entire existence." He narrows his eyes at me, challenging me to come at him. "Are you sure you didn't just walk into the wall when you were young? You seem to have had your head hit pretty bad considering the consequential brain cells loss." I say while crossing my arms over my chest to get my point across. "Take care of those heavy words, blondie. You might just have to pay for them." That seemed to anger him so I smirked even more, despite him calling me blondie. Trust me, I've got that a lot. "It's okay, I anyways don't deal with cheap stuff like you." I throw him the most sarcastic smile I could ever muster. Told you it's a love-hate relationship. A humorous non-cliché story with absolute madness, relatable characters, lots of laughter and lots of conflicting emotions from Summer and Caleb. Warning: contains some abusive content. Written by a 16-year-old who has no idea on how to write all this. Promise it gets better after a few chapters :) *** Ranked #1 in badboy on 13/11/2019 #1 in summer #7 in #teenfiction #2 in #hateatfirstsight #1 in Caleb
Sweet as Syn by ReeceMezei
38 parts Complete Mature
She's heart-meltingly sweet. He's deliciously sinful. Greyson Decker is your typical jock; God in the bedroom, king on the field. His brooding glare and shredded body terrifies as much as it turns on, and that gets him as much attention with women as it does with NFL recruits. Synamie Blake is not your typical cheerleader. Forced to be hardened by her past, she is tough and smart; two things that don't get you far in the college social scene. When their worlds collide, Greyson becomes a protective friend who ups her social rank and pulls her into his world of parties, great friends, better teammates and something much, much dirtier. I mean, her name does rhyme with sin... Syn hated the idea of being under Greyson's daunting wing, especially right after escaping the claws of her past, but he is nothing like his bad boy reputation perceived. He rips her from her nightmares, she seeps into his soul, and they become so hooked, not even the entire span of a football field could keep their burning passion in check. But their path to becoming friends to lovers might be harsher than the fire between them. *** He looks irate, and for some reason, that makes me burst into hysterics. "Do you get enjoyment from my pain, you demon child?" That only makes me laugh harder. "You're a grumpy old man," I inform him. I'm grinning up at him, and I'm glad he has my arms pinned to my sides because I want to pull his lips into a smile, and right now he'd probably bite my fingers off if I did that. And then he says, with a dark glare and a deep scowl, the sweetest words I have ever heard. "Fine. If I have to go infertile for you to smile at me like that, then so be it." And that's when I knew, in this weird, hazy, drunken moment, that Greyson Decker was undoubtedly the best thing that has ever happened to me. *** Cover model: Chase Mattson

In which I fall in love with my brother's best friend. ***** "Don't pretend like you don't feel anything." His voice is low, sending shivers down my spine. "What do you mean?" "You know damn well what I mean." "I don't know what you're talking about." I pretend to ignore him, flipping some pages in my book. "Come on. I have all these assignments waiting. Aren't you supposed to teach me tonight?" "It depends on what you want me to teach." He smirks, his voice sounding even more dangerous. ***** I thought that my brother was the most popular guy in school, but as soon as I step into my university life, I realize how wrong I was. Meet Vaughn Cooper, his best friend. The guy is the epitome of every girl's dream. Godlike handsome. The quarterback. He's got the looks, and he's got the brain. Come on, he's got the scholarship to one of the most prestigious universities in the country, while I have just barely passed the entrance examination after long years of struggle during high school. How could a guy who worked that hard and deserves nothing more but adoration be labeled as a bad boy? Yeah, the answer is simple. The moment we lock eyes, I realize something as I stare into those piercing, amber eyes. He's not every girl's dream. He's every girl's nightmare. In my case, MY nightmare. Calm down, heart. Not every blonde is stupid. In the South if you're a beautiful, blonde, blue-eyed girl high expectations are made. Either you're not extremely smart, so you find yourself a suitable husband to take care of you. Or you are smart and you just pretend to be dumb so you find yourself a suitable husband to take care of you. All her life Avery Skinner has been told what to do and how to do it- by everyone. By her mother, the girls she calls friends, the guys in school, teachers, family, even Mark the mailman. Needless to say, she's sick of it. Its time Avery took control of her life or at least get a firm grip on the sucker. She's loved football ever since she was a little girl. Yet she could never play because ladies aren't supposed to do such barbaric things. Especially in the South- unless its a rodeo and you're wearing those ridiculously tight outfits that show you're navel or showing you can hold your liquor. Avery has longed to be on the field, throwing the ball instead of cheering on the team her dad coaches that can't seem to win. Then her best friend Austin forces Avery to and for sometime everyone is fooled. But the truth can only be hidden for so long. The moment the townsfolk of Stonehenge, Alabama learned it was a girl under that helmet, was the moment true colors showed. It hasn't been easy and it won't get any better but Avery is here to play. * Avery is going to face REAL life problems, and not nice people. She's going to deal with sexual harassment, mean words, rude people, pregnancy, injuries, steroids, etc.. In this story I want to exemplify how sexist and cruel humans can be. There will be hard moments, but I want to put it out there because it IS a serious problem. Harsh language and such will be present. You have been warned, don't read it then complain.
