There are certain rules every species must abide by. That's no exception for the creatures of the night. The rules are rather different from those practiced by mortals. Rule #1: The Mortal world must NEVER know that Nightworld exists. Rule #2: No two different species of the Nightworld may join union and/or create hybrid offspring lest a punishment be endowed upon each involved. Rule #3: You must, as a member of Nightworld, NEVER ever fall in love with a mortal or a different species of Nightworld. A secret society, three rules. All of which are somehow broken.
