Gray Dillard attends boarding school. Yes, typical of an intelligent, attractive and relatively wealthy teenager with unaffectionate parents who prefer their distance with a child they don't really care for.
This story is not about Gray's family troubles since, it doesn't bother him a great deal. This story is about Eden Hale.
Eden Hale sits two seats to the right of Gray in his English class. Eden and Gray have the "walks-down-the-hallway-and-says-hi" sort of relationship.
One evening she kisses him. That's it. No words exchanged, no signs... but she did give him a letter his was not allowed read. This all happened the night before a lot changed for Gray.
