What happens when the bad boy at school starts taking an interest in the schools nerd? What happens when the schools nerd have a not just one but three overprotective big brothers? What happens when the big brothers hate this bad boy with a passion? Poor nerd this was her first year as a freshman at Riverdail high school, and the last thing she wanted was to be senter of attention, but that goes down the drain because she has the bad boy's attention. ___ Hope Carter is the shy, clumsy and nerdy type of person. She has no friends and because of her brothers there have been no boys asking her out, but she is okay with it, only means she has more time for books and homework. Guess the shock she got when the bad boy started talking to her. Cameron Lockwood is the bad boy that has every girl begging to date him. He only has three other friends. He is also the biggest enemy for the Carter brothers after a big fight. So you can guess the shock that came to him when he found out that he's crush of a longe time is the sister of the three brothers.

She looks up at me, taking a step forward and smiling slightly, "How can I ever get hurt when I have you here to protect me?" I know she can feel how fast my heart is beating. I just don't know why it's doing that. ~ Reece Carter is the bad boy of Northwood High. He smokes and he fights. He has countless tattoos covering his body. And he doesn't care about anything or anyone else. Layla Stevens is your average seventeen year-old girl, just trying to get through high school, with the friends she loves and doing the things she loves. Layla finds her way into Reece's life and Reece doesn't know what to do about it. This ray of Sunshine suddenly meant something to him. She understood him when it seemed like no one else did.
