Once humans, now Gods, but with a price.
To be Gods, we sacrificed the one thing in our lives that made us human. Compassion, curiosity, ambitions, even our own pride.
Facades were then built as protection, the replacement for something we couldn't have.
However I could tell from the way his eyes dulled, her arms shaking, and the mask slowly cracking that something needed to be changed.
To do so, we were to rebel against the annual revival, a yearly event that we all dreaded. The event
that ripped away our humanity. This time however, it would be different, we would fight against it.
Oh how foolish we were.
Everything went wrong, I didn't know what to expect. We were thrown into a world wracked with chaos, our challenge to see if we could find each other, then save the sinful world itself.
As dreadful it may seem, there's still that glimmer of hope inside all of us. We'll succeed, I believe it.

Fist slammed against the table and everyone turned to her, "I don't know about everyone else, but I'm not allowing my city to just sit and rot here. We're going to find those 12 kids we need. I don't care what it takes." She announced to the room. "Well, we have to find out what we're looking for here first, because I'm not letting some teenager screw up my decades of work."
