Newt and Jake had escaped WICKED with the rest of their group, but soon got separated, being chased by cranks. Jake getting shot, close to the heart, and Newt almost getting bit by a crank along with other wounds, were captured by WICKED. Now they have to escape once more, by themselves and survive the scorch.
