Inuyasha tried to kill her since he sensed she was a demon but failed since Kagome said those 2 damn words. After they got to now Y/n, Kagome invited her to join them and she happily excepted, I mean who wouldn't after being alone for almost a 100 years. Y/n is a rare demon, there's no other demon that possesses her power. She's the demon of the phoenix so she has flames as her main power, but there not just any flames there blue flames. One day when they were fighting another demon they opened a portal and Kagome tried to push her out of the way but got herself pulled in as well. What happens when they wake up in modern time, for Kagome it's nothing new but for Y/n who had only been to Kagome's world a few times it's quite different for her. Especially with the way they dress and the she can't use her powers around other people.
