The island of Ostaria has been divided for decades. When King Samson and Queen Isabelle of West Ostaria and King Henry and Queen Rachel of East Ostaria finally unite the two nations celebrations take place all over the island. To finalize the unification, it is declared that King Samson and Queen Isabelle's seven sons and King Henry and Queen Rachel's seven daughters are to be married in a huge ceremony in the spring. Before then a story of true love, tragedy, troubles, and trials unfolds in Ostaria that might just put the unification in jeopardy.

Annabelle and Isabelle are two very different girls, they are also twins. When their parents were in a car accident in which they were hit by a drunk driver, they both get sent to foster homes because none of their other family members would take them in. The girls only being a year old at the time, were separated and never saw one another again. They both faced hardships and have experienced things that no one should ever have to go through. The girls coincidently apply to the same boarding school for their senior year: Richmond Academy. Isabelle is not your ordinary girl.
