Fernpaw's mentor is Ambermoon, but the ginger she-cat has been acting strangely, and always avoided Fernpaw when she was a kit. After half a moon, the grey she-cat has had enough of her mentor's strange acts, and asks her why she behaves like that. Ambermoon then reveals the truth, and Fernpaw wished that she had never asked her mentor about it. But her dreams have been troubled and dark, and the same prophecy keeps repeating itself. "Darkness will enfold the forest. Blood will bring death, and death will bring the end." But Ambermoon hides a dark secret, and soon Fernpaw will become a part of it.Concluida

Little does she know that just so happens to be Starclan's will not only will she need to mentor Smokekit, tensions rise higher and higher within Lakeclan and a war will be hard to avoid, and Foxbristle; Leopardwillow's sister is accused of Bearstar's murder. On top of that drama Leopardwillow still has to save her clan from whatever danger lies ahead-little does she know her stubborn apprentice might be the cause for all this chaos... Excerpt: Flamestar's one amber eye shone in the moonlight; the moon soon disappeared from within the clouds. "I did not fail Junipercloud." Leopardwillow spat, "you should know not to kill warriors during things so ridiculous as border skirmishes Starclan doesn't want us to kill each other." By now her fur stood on end but Flamestar looked terrifyingly calm. "I suppose, but the way I see it there should only be one clan not two. How ridiculous our ancestors decided it." Flamestar said with a curious tone. "I shall make this short before we depart young warrior - I'd watch my back from now on if I were you." the orange she-cat said thoughtfully. Timberheart leapt off the boulder "Is that a threat?!" he growled. Flamestar thought her words over "Maybe. Lakeclan to me!" she yowled before either of them had time to respond. A death sentence just waiting to happen Leopardwillow thought sadly. Dovesong was right; A war was on the verge of happening and not even Starclan could stop that.
