A lot happened during the summer of 2015 in Ryeswood and the whole town would be affected by it. The tragic death of Jessica Raymond left pain and loss for some yet great relief for others. She was the heart and sole (and mean girl) of her group. After the incident they all drifted apart and became different people but one event brings Evelyn, Clarity, Esther and Erin together again and they are a force to be reckoned with. Back together for their final year of senior school and they think they can handle anything life throws at them after the last few months but what happens when everything gets too much for them. Their fivesome is now only four and no one is prepared for this new alliance. Can they cope now that their fearless leader is gone? Can they admit that despite her methods she really was the one who connected them all?  Can  ccthe world deal with the aftermath of the murder of Jessica Raymond?
