Leo's parents always told her she's special. You would think the same after seeing her yourself, because Leo isn't exactly your average everyday girl. She doesn't look 100% human. Instead 50% lion, 50% human. She has no idea why, but Leo has learned to live with it.

Leo's never met one of her own, half human, half something else, and she thinks she'll never come across such creatures.
