Elise's life isn't the best, she doesn't get along with her family that well especially after her grandma died so as soon as she got the chance to go to college she did. She's not the friendliest and is definitely not like any other girl. Elise has been through a lot and doesn't take anyone's shit. She's hard faced but is that just a wall? 

Max use to be hard faced like Elise but after he got his heart badly broken he completely changed. His confidence lacks and he doesn't really know himself that well anymore. He's friendly but awkward and finds it hard to be himself. his home is full of too many memories so as soon as he got the chance to go to college he did.

Max and Elise couldn't be anymore different but do they have more in common than they thought? Max and Elise both move away to escape the drama and the heartache but when they realise they're going to be roommates for the next 3 years, how will they react?
