Korra has passed and the new Avatar was named. Hotaru was a simple earth bending girl who never thought she was anything, even though she was a troublemaker, but she loved her life. When a group of men come and tell her she is the Avatar and will need to leave home she is a little hesitant at first, but she knows that she must. 

Miles away in the Fire Nation the Fire Lord is building up the biggest army the world has ever seen. After the Earth Kings Dai Li stole an important artifact from the Fire Lord he has been thinking of a way to start a war with the Two Kingdoms.
