Some people may think that she's stuck up, other's think she's shy. But with the new kid in town, will he find out the real reason that she doesn't talk or will she just shut him out too? Melanie may just end up falling in love and if she does, will she risk her life for the chance to speak to him, even if it's just once?

I wrote this as an English 9 Essay that was due for class. I and going to take this essay and put a spin on it and hopefully rewrite this into a story and make it better.

Kate was used to dealing with unfair consequences. Having a less than ideal home life and no one else to support her, she had learned to deal with things on her own. She had learned not to feel and especially not to hope. So when someone new comes into her life Kate does the best thing she can think of, she shuts them out. Riley was dealt a bad deck of cards in her life. Her mother passed giving birth to her, and her father blames her for his wife's death. He abuses her non-stop, and there's nothing she can do about it, even if she tried. That's when Spencer comes along. After being paired up for a huge class project, will the mysterious 'bad boy' and the abused girl end up together, or will the abuse become too much to handle? -------- This was a short story I wrote for my creative writing class, and thought I'd share it here! If You Love Me
"If you love me, you won't leave me." Jessie has believed those words from her boyfriend, Josh, since senior year of high school. She loves him and doesn't want to leave him.
