Some people may think that she's stuck up, other's think she's shy. But with the new kid in town, will he find out the real reason that she doesn't talk or will she just shut him out too? Melanie may just end up falling in love and if she does, will she risk her life for the chance to speak to him, even if it's just once?

I wrote this as an English 9 Essay that was due for class. I and going to take this essay and put a spin on it and hopefully rewrite this into a story and make it better.

Isn't it ironic? The three middle letters of 'believe' are L-I-E *** Addyson "Addy" Alway has done horrible things in her life. Lying about sexual relationships with a teacher, burning down a convenient store, destroying a church's nativity set, and so much more her town hasn't forgiven her for. Kate was used to dealing with unfair consequences. Having a less than ideal home life and no one else to support her, she had learned to deal with things on her own. But, after a series of events in the course of one day, they are thrown back together, and Kate is given the chance to explain herself.
