This is my account of my most recent hospitalization. Most people think that mental rehabilitation facilities are just vacation spots. Well, they are dead wrong. Psychiatric hospitals are very tense environments, and I decided that I'd like to share my full experience with everyone. It was one of my worst stays, and I think sharing my experience will help others to understand what people who struggle with mental illness go through. My name is James. I have two brothers, two identical brothers. My life was always 'different' but it was by no means boring. It wasn't always easy but we made the most of it. When I was sixteen I had one of the worst experiences of my life. Looking back on it now, that year changed me, a lot. It molded me into the person I am today. It chokes me up to even think about it, but if anything had been different I wouldn't be where I am right now. You know how they say everyone has a purpose? It's true. Older brothers. I have more than people could handle. I have 8 brothers. Well one is my twin, but surprise surprise he likes to make it known that he is older. Sometimes it sucks being the only girl, but I wouldn't change it for the world. My name is Alora. I am 14 years old and a freshmen in high school. People think that my family is perfect and that we have never had anything bad happen to us. We lost our mom over 9 years ago. I also had something bad happen to me, but I will get into more detail in the story. This book is just for fun.
