Shawn Harmon is one of many people that was diagnosed with a new genetic disorder that doctors call the Red. It's an anger disorder that amplifies the anger process and either makes someone hostile or just pass out; in some cases people have died from the Red. In Shawn's case a mixture between bad events leads to the disorder developing into something dangerous; leading him down a dark path of destruction. With no progress in finding something to help with the disorder Shawn finds himself to be more and more of a lost cause. Will Shawn ever catch a break and find something that makes him feel normal? Or will it be someone special to come and kiss his pain away.
