It all started with a mission, A mission that separated a family. On December 24th 2006, agent Bryce Connors went on a mission with several others to take down a terrorist group known as Garatric. While on enemy ground, all contact with him was lost, and he was pronounced dead, another fatality. But when ransom videos began to appear to his family, asking for money in return for his freedom, the mission for his rescue had began.
Raised to be a spy, Ashton Connors has had years of hardship since her father was captured by Garatric. Since she was 9 she was forced to be trained, strengthened, and hardened, all in hope of one day rescuing her father, if he was still alive. Now at age 20, Ashton is sent on an easy solo rescue mission, but it may be one that changes her life forever.
Jacob Vandalier is 20 and one of the best spies in his league, cunning and talented. All of his life he had wanted to be a spy, following in the footsteps of his patents and gladly going into training. Jacob had always wanted to meet other spies from different leagues, but he wasn't exactly planning it to happen the way it did.

The only small, minute, really unimportant detail - it's pretty hard to get into a government classified site when you're 15 years old and have a rag-tag team of double-crossing back-stabbers behind you. Not to mention the threat of a world war and ghost hanging above your head. Armed with sarcasm, wit, and a hell of a lot of aggressive intentions, it won't be too long till a sticky situation is all that's ahead of you. When she was sixteen, both of her parents were killed while on a mission. She has a goal to complete that mission for them. She knows it's very dangerous, but she just has to. When she ends up at the same hotel the famous duo Jack and Jack (unknown to her) are at, they are in the wrong place at the wrong time and get caught in the middle of the chaos. Lexi has to find a way to complete the hardest, most emotional mission of her life whilst keeping the boys out of harm's way. Young love is cruel.
