Stella was a middle schooler. She was in the sixth grade, making her twelve years young. She lives in San Diego, California. She was on vacation with her family, going to San Clemente, to see a long lost friend. Well, her moms long lost friend.   But Stella is in for a surprise. When they arrive to the friends' house, the friend has a son. His name is Sam and he is sixteen  years old. Stella later finds out that she has a bit of a crush on this Sam dude. But it's hard for her to understand that she is only twelve, having a crush on a sixteen year old.   Will Sam ever find out? Will he think it's creepy or will he think it's cute?
