Nora Thompson is a freshman at Greensville High School who's life is utterly boring.  With no friends, parents that are constantly bickering, a younger brother who hates her, and her only friend is the boy next door named Sam, she thinks her life can't get any worse...that is until a fallen angel comes.  She tells her that the heavens are at a great war with evil, an evil seeking to conquer the heavens and make mankind suffer eternally.  Suddenly, Nora's life isn't so normal as she's thrust into a new world full of magic, secrets, and surprises.  But if there's one thing Nora is determined to do, it's to show that she's not as invisible as she seems, and she will make it happen, one step at a time.
