The story of a curly-haired punching bag, Danielle Adams, who has barely anything to live for. Her only protector has vanished and now she's all on her own with her reckless, drunken guardians. During her days she suffers abuse (Physical and Emotional) and school makes it no easier. One dark day, all has seemed to have gone and there's nothing left but the bottle of pills in her closet. After seeing that she really doesn't want to die that way... She slowly comes out of her shell.

She meets a strange young man, Heydan Bradstreet, who teaches her not only its she enough, she's more. He helps her realize that she is worth way more than what she thinks she is ans nobody's opinions should matter except hers. They promise each other that they.'ll be twisted forever, but as we know... nothing lasts that long!
