Writing Prompt: A story where an avid reader finds himself in a supernatural situation of some sort, and proceeds to analyze it according to the tropes of the fantasy genre.
*A challenge (Okay, not really, but I'm Slytherin sue me) given to me by a friend. The only detail they gave was that it was inspired by a dream and they were at the center of it.
**This will be crap, I must warn you, but you didn't specify quality.
***I'll add a story summary if or when I've finished writing it as I am coming up with each of the chapters as I write it.

Her sister was kidnapped and brutally killed, her father comes up with the brilliant idea of moving. As she's getting settled in school, she meets this mysterious boy, and before she knows it she is dragged into hell. Literally. Figuring out that the kidnapper is connected to the murder of her sister, might be her downfall. Especially when she finds out her big family secret, and the terrifying fact that her classmate, is in fact, a demon. How will she deal with the new turn of events and how her life has been turned completely upside down. Especially when she was convinced that she would only focus on school, something that is now so far down on her list of important things to worry about, that she barely even remembers to show up to class. I wrote this in 9th grade it's mortifying. I stole some ideas from otherfanfictions. That being said it is actually a really good fanfiction but the pieces don't really connect. Something didn't feel right. I looked around my room slowly; cautiously; taking everything in and trying not to feel too nervous. Perhaps Lure was in my room right now, watching me, silently laughing to himself. I didn't doubt it. I slipped off my bed and walked around, hugging my waist, and tilted my head. I felt my rough ponytail slide against the back of my neck and over my shoulder as I moved. "Lure?" I hissed, "Lure, are you there?" I wandered around a little, for some reason feeling scared. But why? It was only Lure. He wouldn't hurt me, would he? "Okay, Lure. Quit it. I know it's you. Who else would it-" I stopped, startled, when I heard a strange sound that made me cringe. It was like fingernails being dragged across a chalkboard. I whipped around and came face-to-face with my mirror. Immediately, I saw the difference.
