Sofia and her family are joining Prince Hugo and his family for their royal jubilee. Hugo's older brother, Axel, has reunited with Prince Roderick of Corona, an old friend from Royal Prep. Roderick is so fond of Hugo that he gives him a special dragonfly pin. But shortly afterwards, Hugo keeps getting a weird tummy ache that comes and goes. When Hugo is sent to bed, Sofia and Axel realize that the pin Roderick gave Hugo was making him sick. It turns out that it's the Pin of Achenheimer, a magically cursed pin that curses its bearer with intolerable pain in the stomach, and Roderick gave it to Hugo on purpose!
