“My name is Betsy Becker and I am a fan girl.”
I guess I can be considered a fan girl. There is nothing I enjoy more than following celebrities around and knowing everything about them. It’s like I’m IMBD in flesh and blood. A walking IMDB as my friends call me.
Of course, I wished on meeting someone famous, maybe Daniel Radcliffe, Britney Spears or some famous rock star. But everyone wants that, right? It’s not unusual you want your favourite celebrity to know how much they mean to you, that their music saved you from depression or a movie made you smile when all you wanted to do is curl onto the couch and cry your heart out.
It was New Year’s Eve and I was standing next to my best friend, Lya, holding hands. It was the time to make a wish. I wished I could be a celebrity for at least a day. To be in their shoes and see what they see, act like they do, and be as appreciated as they were.
But when I woke up the next morning with a huge headache because of a hangover I didn’t remember having, I looked in the mirror and shouted. The mirror reflected the image of Cassie Allison, one of the greatest celebrities nowadays.
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
