Seventeen year old, Ary Kane is in over her head. When Ary was 5 years old she was diagnosed with a unknown illness that causes her to blackout for days at a time that always comes with some sort of mark almost like a tattoo. When Eighteen year old Alex Clark and his parents move in next door and see her marks they instantly know who she is and why they felt compelled to move a small town in California with a population of 1,003 people. When Alex and Ary meet they feel a spark that brings them together. Add all that together with Ary's quirky best friend Jake, and the adventure begins.
