In a world in reconstruction, Jean Cerisier has a life envied by many. Although he complains about the education received from his father, the Emperor of Île Écarlat, he has all the luxury a man can only dream of. Specially the love of his beautiful and sweet slave, a present from the Eastern Islands.

Although he refuses to treat his Shiro as a property, his difficulties in dealing with the boy's feelings end up creating a succession of events that might even put the Empire at stake.

New arrivals and great challenges will require him to prove he is intelligent and strong enough to be worthy of the throne. Through his journey, he will discover several ways of loving someone and, most of all, the happiness of being truly loved.

An emperor who refused to rule with blood. A prince who refused to love with restraint. Elliott Lancaster, descendant of the sun and the gentle Emperor of the Vellurian empire, has spent his life avoiding war- and his father's attempts to force him into a political marriage. After his succession, instead, he adopted an orphaned noble boy, Aiden, raising him as both heir and an unlikely companion. But their bond was never that of father and son. How could it be, when they had less than a decade between them? Aiden Lancaster, the perfect prince in court and a storm of violence on the battlefield, has waited years to prove himself. He is devoted to his adopted father- some might even say, too devoted. Still, up till now, he was restrained by Elliott's desire for peace, despite their enemies poking them again and again. But Aiden's patience had its limits- but them touching Elliott was the straw which broke the camel's back. Now unrestrained, he wages a war so brutal it shocks the empire. When Elliott awakens to find borders redrawn in blood, he must confront the terrifying truth: the boy he raised has become a conqueror, and his devotion has twisted into something far more dangerous. As rival empire schemes and the nobility whispers about their unnatural bond, Elliott faces an impossible choice: maintain his morals and risk losing Aiden or embrace the ruthless love of the man who would burn the world to protect him.

Under the skin I didn't choose

9 parts Ongoing

Ezra, a trans man, was never able to access the medical transition he desired. Years of looking at himself in the mirror with rejection have left him with shattered self-esteem and a constant silence towards the world. When he attends a school reunion, he reconnects with Leo, an outgoing man who used to bully him as a child, but he doesn't understand the depth of his words. Time has changed, Leo now looks at him with a mixture of interest, attraction, and regret. However, he can't believe someone like him could be seen that way, his mind is filled with voices repeating that he'll never be enough. Amidst lingering glances, painful memories, and conversations suspended in the air, the two embark on a slow and contradictory path. Leo insists on breaking down Ezra's walls, while Ezra must confront his deepest wound, his inability to love himself. The romance turns into a rough patch, filled with doubts and half-confessions, but also an unexpected chance for redemption. The question that runs through the story is not only whether they will be able to love each other, but whether Ezra will be able to love himself first, even in a skin he didn't choose.
