Meet Isa.
Of course like everything else in the world, Isa is no normal girl. Found on a front porch abandoned by her mother as a baby. her best friend is a slave boy named Jake, life was great, but at night she dreams of a man called the shadow man, and after a dream very vivid the man appears. and that's where her life is turned quite upside down.

I saw this WP on Reddit, and I had a lightbulb moment. Since the age of 14, you've noticed a monster stalking you. A few years later, you've noticed it seems very protective over you and will go through extreme measures to protect you. It's usually friendly, but it seems threatening when your childhood friend is around. I changed "Monster" to a shadow, but is it a shadow really? Since a young teen, Damien has always noticed s͟o͟m͟e͟t͟h͟i͟n͟ ͟g, that something is a figure in the corner of his eyes. He thought he was just going crazy, till one day it appears before him. I am currently rewriting this, but feel free to give this draft a read :D Shadow's world is turned upside down when she found out her grandmother died. Her grandmother was like her second parent, a replacement for her dad who died before she was born. But then, on one fateful day, Shadow brings home a mirror and a storybook home from her grandmother's house, after she found a hidden note telling her to take it. After her grandmother's funeral, Shadow trips and falls into the mirror, taking her best friend, Alex, along with her. Now they find themselves in a new universe called Euphoria, in a kingdom known as Abesa. Shadow and Alex find they are apart of an old legend of Abesa and that they were destined to come there and save it from swirling into the darkness. Nothing will ever be the same.
