EYES OF DEATH AND DESIRE
Death. A man who despises mortals with a vengeance to end them all. After abusing his powers and sending innocent souls to the Underworld, the God of Death is sent to an unknown realm to pay for his crimes. Unable to leave, the God causes destruction across the realm and resides in an indestructible fortress whilst he searches for his freedom. Sera, bound to a man she once loved, used to wish for death. But after catching her hated lover in the embrace of another woman, her bloody hands and murderous rage cause her wish to turn into fear. Chased onto the God's lands, the tormented girl finds herself in the palm of Death's hand. And his grasp is unforgiving. MATURE CONTENT. This includes detailed descriptions of violence, strong language and sexual content.

"You were worried about me, Specs?" He smirked. "No, Tyler. I hoped that someone cut up your corpse and fed it to paranas. Obviously I was, you idiot! I'm a doctor. Worrying about people is kind of programmed into my system. It's a curse if you ask me," I surprised myself a lot more than I thought was possible with my answer. And what did he do? Laugh! He fucking laughed! Not full on rolling- on- the- floor laughter but a laugh nonetheless. "This isn't funny, Tyler." "It kind of is. Almost a month ago, I would've sworn that you hated me. Be careful, Specs," he squinted down at me, "or you might actually sound as if you like me." I rolled my eyes. "Don't flatter yourself. I was concerned. Don't confuse that with affection. AJ Ferro: She's cute, nice respectful. A helper. When she walks in a room, people usually get flowers. People love her, people want to be her friend. Despite her cheery nature and soft words AJ has never had it easy when it came to addiction -or depression. Without his addiction, sadness and anger Micah doesn't know who he is -and he hates not knowing things. And, of all places, they meet at a rehab center. He looked at her and saw a peppy girl with no future. She looked at him and saw a troubled boy with a bad past. Micah wants to die, AJ wants him to live. It's only a matter of time before one of them breaks through or breaks the other. - I was 12 the first time I took a hit off a joint at a party, smoked a blunt by myself and bought a bong. I was 13 when I started drinking alcohol for fun. 14 the first time I took ecstasy at a college party I snuck into, the same age I lost my virginity. This was the first time I went to a mental institution because it's also the year I first tried to kill myself. 15 the first time I smoked meth, took a bump of cocaine, shot myself up with heroine. This was the first time I got sent to rehab, it didn't work and I came out worse. I was 16 when I tried to commit three times in the same year, the last time I got my heart to stop for 30 seconds. That year was also the first time I snorted Hydrocodone, getting me started in opiates, I experimented with Xanax and liked it. And I was a month from 17 when I got sober. - "Fuck you." I snap. "You already have." Micah bites out. "And I'm pretty fucking sure you liked it too, if your orgasms were anything to go by." - "I want-" Micah stopped, running his fingers through his hair. The only creature capable of making one of the Devil's darkest deals to my loving mother; a second chance for her daughter. This comes with consequences of course. Everything you know about Death is wrong. Death is not natural, Death is not normal, Death is not doleful, and Death is far from mercenary. Death blends into the shadows like coal against the most atramentous sky. Death walks the earth with his cursed, monstrous and exotic features, his enticing voice and betraying alluring eyes. Death deceives, scratches, and plays with your mind, until you slowly and painfully loose your grip on reality. He'll make you believe he's a different person, that there's a sliver hope for him.
