Bailey tried for months to make sure her friend ship with Ryder Williams never drifted. But of course, reality broke up the friendship. Ryder did live across the country from Bailey after all.
When Bailey hears that Ryder has been going through a rough patch in his life she's curious about the boy she once could call her best friend.
Her mind is immediately distracted when she sees a moving truck pull up into Ryder's old home next door to her own. Saying Bailey was shocked is an understatement. The Williams home has been empty since they left.
