Ryder is a normal teenager going about her normal life doing normal things. Well, she may be considered a tad weird, and have only one real friend, but she's still normal. Or, at least in the important part.

Her life is turned upside down when a strange boy comes to town, well to city. He pops up in the places she least expects, even at the local coffee shop where she sees her best friend talking to him like old pals.

Her dad and best friend start keeping secrets from her. But things get even stranger when they all start warning her. And what's all this have to do with her strange birthmark? And what do they mean by demigod? This all has to be a joke, right? Think again.
