The Defects (On Hold)

There are two types of people in the world. The ones that everyone wants to be and the ones who are shunned. In a world where science rules all, there is a group of people who underwent an experiment. Out of those are two types of subject: The ones that were successful and the ones who weren't.
The subjects who were deemed successful, the Splices, were put into training to try and make into the perfect soldiers. The subjects who were deemed unfit, the Defects, were forced into camps where they were beaten and broken and later sold as slaves.
Geneva, a Defect, was ripped from her family and thrown into a world she doesn't understand. She has the traits of an animal but is now being treated like a defect.
Hunter, a Splice, is treated like royalty after his experiment and learns how to calm and control the beast suddenly inside him. In his eyes, the world is perfect and the Defects are treated fair and reasonably.
Geneva and her friends find out something that could change the world forever and there are people who would do anything to keep that secret in the dark. Even kill.
So while the Defects fight to be heard, Hunter and his friends have to figure out what side their on.
And all of this before the Defects are eliminated for good by the very people who forced them to undergo the experiment.
The only think the Defects have left to lose is their life.
