Riley Miller has always lived an average life. Caring father, amazing friends, relatable social life, and fun personality. Her parents are separated, but she doesn't cry over that. However, in need of money and no requirement for extra rooms in the house, her father decides to give the house on rent to his close pal, Richard James. Riley isn't necessarily happy about that, but however, copes with it for the sake of her father. The girl who has always been living an average life, had no hopes for fairytale like love story, or romance. Little did she know, that the James' son, Ryan James, will prove her wrong. She's strikingly a natural beauty for an average girl, and mix that with her realistic personality, she definitely didn't know she'd catch the eyes of a certain James.

Megan Stewart hasn't known much happiness. She's only 17, but her life has been hard. However, despite all that she's been through, Megan keeps a smile on her face. Meet Jared Wesly. He's the bad boy of the school. However, he's not so much a bad boy. He's simply misunderstood. Only, he's been through quite a lot, just like Megan. In fact, they have more in common than Megan knows. When Jared and Megan's worlds collide (quite literally), Megan finds herself drawn to the boy that annoys her to no end, teases her, but makes her feel happy and protected, something almost unknown to her. Megan must make a choice in the end: Does she take a chance with the familiar boy, or does he become another "What if?" in her life? NOTE: I first wrote this story when I was around 13-14, so there will be cliches and cringe-worthy writing at moments. *Caution: Some language*
