Riley Miller has always lived an average life. Caring father, amazing friends, relatable social life, and fun personality. Her parents are separated, but she doesn't cry over that. However, in need of money and no requirement for extra rooms in the house, her father decides to give the house on rent to his close pal, Richard James.

Riley isn't necessarily happy about that, but however, copes with it for the sake of her father. The girl who has always been living an average life, had no hopes for fairytale like love story, or romance. Little did she know, that the James' son, Ryan James, will prove her wrong. She's strikingly a natural beauty for an average girl, and mix that with her realistic personality, she definitely didn't know she'd catch the eyes of a certain James.

Wrote this at 15, First novel, don't judge. [Warning: this book contains explicit content, crude language, drug use & abusive scenarios.] He tried everything to forget her. But no matter how hard he fought, the memories wouldn't fade. She wasn't some dream girl, she was the one who taunted him on the playground. The blonde shattered his heart like glass on concrete. But picking up the pieces? That's the part he never saw coming. Ace Valentino doesn't do what people expect-he's the guy who walks on the wild side. A brooding bad boy with a dark side fueled by brokenness, addiction, and bad decisions. His heart is still held hostage by his cold, adrenaline-obsessed ex. Moving on? That's a joke. So, he drowns the pain with alcohol and anything that numbs him. But Ace has secrets, ones he vowed to bury forever. Then, his new neighbor moves in and suddenly, something inside him stirs-something he's not ready for, and everything he's terrified of. Willow Andrews, sweet yet scarred, knows nothing but loneliness. Her guardian's abuse has built walls around her heart. Love is a stranger to her, and she's afraid of what she doesn't understand. But something about Ace, the tortured soul next door, draws her in-despite the fear. In a world where love is something they can't quite reach, Ace and Willow collide. It's not about romance, but healing. Can they save each other, or will their pasts break them before they have a chance? The line between magic and misery is thinner than they think-and the change they both desperately need might just be the thing that destroys them, or sets them free.
