The angel Thorn is cast out of Heaven and wakes up in a playground. She will be allowed back if she completes one simple task: to find Lucifer's son Azrael and bring him to God to face justice.

Along the journey filled with death, mysteries, and horror, Thorn has not expected Azrael to be so handsome and devilish. And she has not expected to fall for him-hard.

I look her over and see nothing short of the perfect mate I am used to, however, something isn't right. Jordan pulls me down closer to her and starts leaving little kisses all over my body. Every place her lips touch immediately burns. I push her away and move towards the bottom of the bed. She sits up and moves to come closer to me. I move away again. "Liam, don't you want to mark me? Don't you want this?" Jordan looks at me pouting. This is when I realize what is going on. I smile and move to her. "Of course, I want to my queen," I coo at her and grab her wrists and pin them behind her head. My hands are burning from touching her, but I fight through it. I start leaving kisses all along her neck and pause where my canines are supposed to sink into her neck. Jordan lets out a throaty moan and I can smell her arousal. I kiss up and towards the middle of her throat. My canines extend and I bite into her throat and rip it out. Her eyes fill with pain and she struggles before the life is finally drained out of her. I drop the muscle and flesh from my mouth and let out a howl of victory.
