A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

The Resistance tried to attack the First Order but it failed. Many are dead, many are prisoners and only a few escaped.

Kylo Ren was interrogating all of the prisoners and killing them if they were useless. He killed men, women and children. It didn't matter to him.

I was taken prisoner. I was with the Resistance, hiding the fact that I could use the Force, hiding my past. And then, it got uncovered, by Kylo Ren, when he interrogated me. And somehow, I survived. But whether my survival was a good thing or a bad thing was yet to be known...

Takes place about a year after The Force Awakens (this is an AU).

Meanwhile, Rey, having found Luke Skywalker on the lost planet of Ahch-To, must receive training from the Last Jedi. The fate of the galaxy rests on a knife edge...

This fanfic explores a different ending to TROS starting at about the halfway point, when Kylo reveals the truth about Rey in the hangar. Based on Star Wars ep. VII: The Force Awakens. "You... you're afraid." I say looking back at him defyingly. "That you'll never be as strong as Darth Vader." I say his hand moving away from me instantly and he takes a step back finally my body gets released from his hold. I notice the expression from his face breaking completely, he is confused even rattled. I breathe heavily and keep staring back at him proud of myself as he picks up his mask and exits the room leaving me tied up to the interrogation chair. How was I able to do all of that? ------ This book is part 1 of my rewrite series. I figured that if If I wanted to rewrite TLJ and TROS the only correct way would be by also doing TFA so here is that. Also, this book is going to be very similar to the movie to a point where it is almost identical but since it's written with different points of views we get to know more about the characters and where they come from. It is very canon compliant especially when talking about the different character backstories. That being said, this doesn't mean that the next two books are going to be the exact same as the movies I want to take the other books in a completely different way. They might still have similarities to the movies but not that many. ------ **I do not own any of the characters in the Star Wars Saga all credits to that go to Lucas Films.**

For that reason, she was even more terrorizing than Kylo Ren himself. She stayed with him despite all he had done- all that he had made her do. She knew nothing else, only him, only the First Order. Until she met the Resistance's Best Pilot, and found a way out.
