"Oh, why don't you just admit it, Kaitlyn? Just say it. You're just like everyone else. You used me to get closer to my brother. You did not want to be my friend. You did not give two fucks about me. You are just like Frank! You don't care about how I feel! You just want to use me! You don't care about how I hurt, as long as you have something to gain! Then as soon as you get what you want, I am the one who suffers! I am the one who thinks about you every day! I am the one who is terrified of you! I can't have a normal life because you ruined it! You ruined me! I can't even go to sleep at night and it's been four fucking years!," I scream, and at that point, I knew that none of this was about Kaitlyn and Jessie. This was about Frank. I was going crazy. "Jessica who's Frank?" Kaitlyn said in a whisper towards the door that I wouldn't and might never open. I answered in silence. "Jessica, you can talk to me. Just let me in" Kaitlyn said. But I was done talking. I was going forward with my life. Then all of a sudden, when I saw Frank, I took twenty fucking steps back. Jessica has always been called, "The Bad Girl." But she never really cared, it was only a title to her. All she wanted to do was get through the four years of the prison, called high school. But all of that changed when Jessica met Tom. Tom was one of the good guys, but could he prove that to Jessica. Is Jessica really a "Bad Girl," or was it how she was forced to act? Will Tom get her to look past her pass and knock down the barriers that are keeping her isolated. Or will Jessica's stubbornness get in the way. Get to know Jessica for who she really is and not for the person that she has been forced to been. ________________________________________________________________ Warning!! Mature Content!! In which I fall in love with my brother's best friend. ***** "Don't pretend like you don't feel anything." His voice is low, sending shivers down my spine. "What do you mean?" "You know damn well what I mean." "I don't know what you're talking about." I pretend to ignore him, flipping some pages in my book. "Come on. I have all these assignments waiting. Aren't you supposed to teach me tonight?" "It depends on what you want me to teach." He smirks, his voice sounding even more dangerous. ***** I thought that my brother was the most popular guy in school, but as soon as I step into my university life, I realize how wrong I was. Meet Vaughn Cooper, his best friend. The guy is the epitome of every girl's dream. Godlike handsome. The quarterback. He's got the looks, and he's got the brain. Come on, he's got the scholarship to one of the most prestigious universities in the country, while I have just barely passed the entrance examination after long years of struggle during high school. How could a guy who worked that hard and deserves nothing more but adoration be labeled as a bad boy? Yeah, the answer is simple. The moment we lock eyes, I realize something as I stare into those piercing, amber eyes. He's not every girl's dream. He's every girl's nightmare. In my case, MY nightmare. Calm down, heart.
