When a District 13 spy finds himself trapped in the Hunger Games arena, he must survive attacks from the Gamemakers, avoid the other tributes, and figure out a way to escape the Capitol's wrath and return home.

Note: I do not own The Hunger Games or any of its characters, but I had fun making up this story.

I Was The First Mockingjay (Finnick Odair)

20 parts Complete

Before Katniss there was me. Before The Girl on Fire there was The Girl Alive. Before the District 12 volunteer there was a stupid little tribute from 10.Before the 74th Hunger Games there was the 69th. My Hunger Games. My name is Aria Moulson and I won the 69th Hunger Games 6 years ago. I was the first Mockingjay. Trust me I never wanted to be. I never wanted to start a rebellion I just wanted to get in and out. But, the people of Panem had a different idea. They saw me as the light in the darkness. They saw me as their way out of President Snow's wrath. They saw me as their Mockingjay. Why they saw me as the Mockingjay? It was because I was the first tribute to ever speak out about the Capitol's tyranny. A moment of weakness in the games and it cost me a lifetime of pain and suffering. But now I'm going back for the 3rd Quarter Quell and this time, I'm taking the Capitol down with me. I'll give them a show. I'll give the people something to fight for.
