I manage to utter a meek reply,"maybe."

He dips his head down so slowly it's painful as his hands hold my waist. His lips are a mere millimetre apart from mine when he asks me again.

"Would you like me to kiss you?"

My hearts beating at a hundred miles an hour as my answer comes out in a rushed breath, "Yes."
