Daxon is a member of a rebellion in a whole bigger Galaxy full of realms and time pools with Earth in it. The Galactic Franchise are the "rulers" of the Galaxy and very rich. The Galactic Franchise is trying to take over the Milky Way starting with Earth. The rebellion is fighting for the Milky Way to save all its planets and more importantly all the inhabitants of Earth.

Their leader, Praetor Emrys yr Arglwydd Seren or the Star Lord is the master of this knightly order. Within the Sons are the Dragon knights, fighters dedicated to slaying the foes that trouble humanity. Based off of the ancient Terran nation of Cymru/Wales they use that ancient language to create war names. They have been hunting a roving gang of raiders and have finally tracked them down to a planetary system.
