"The Red Shoes" is a book about a young teenage girl, Melissa, who is growing up in the 1960's. After an incident at her school she is forced to be bedridden. After she sneaks out she runs into her child hood friend, Henry, also known as the paper boy. After a night together her parents see him and identify him as the boy with the red shoes. Melissa is beaten at home and left there alone. Henry discovers her and comes up with an idea. To run away. Melissa starts to have feelings for Henry and vis versa. What will happen?
Follow through her life in her view and notice how life was different then. I've done research and it took a ridiculous amount of time to know everything to write about this 1960's setting. Thank you for reading it as it took a while to write.

Adrianna parties and gets drunk and smokes all the time. One day she just can't stand staying with her dad for any longer and goes to her neighbor Daniel's house till her friend picks her up. She went back completely wasted and needed a place to stay for the night since her dad was on her ass about getting drunk so she stays with him. I hope you like the book, there is going to a mild amount of swearing and lots of drinking and smoking. Everything is made up beside the state they live in.
