Today, Lacey Winter lives in a city that used to be called New York, where nobody's allowed outside city limits. Lacey's been oblivious to the world around her for sixteen years, until she finds a locket with the address to a place outside the city, and Lacey realizes that there may still be life away from the society she's always known.
