The day where Scarlet's dream comes true turns to her worst nightmare. Blake Bennett her alpha and mate rejected and humiliated her in front of her pack. Her heart felt like it was being gutted out trampled on. Unable to cope with the rejection, Scarlet fled and plans on suicide until she was found by Danny Walker. 3 years have passed, they both are a couple having a relatively normal life. They live in an apartment with the humans. Scarlet is a writer, she publishes her own books while Danny is an accountant. Everything is happy and dandy until one day she got a letter from her family asking her to visit them.
